I decided to do my service project by helping my high school (McLean HS) fix erosion and drainage problems near the football field.

Approvals:
(3/9/2013) - Mr. Ahlgrimm (Troop 1130 Scoutmaster) and Mrs. Nolan (Troop Committee Chair reviewed and approved my proposal.
(3/12/2013) - Mr. Patrick verbally approved the plan and will discuss the issue with the McLean HS principal for her approval.
(3/12/2013) - I took pictures of the site about 3 hours after the rain (on the right). Kids were playing with the standing water. The drain is totally blocked. Since this is 3 hrs after the rain water level must have been even higher (I was in class during the rain).
(3/20/2013) - Mr. Patrick approved the project.
(3/21/2013) - Mr. Meyers approved the project.
(4/10/2013) - Mrs. Bruner gave me permission I could use PTSA money for the project (link).
(4/28/2013) - Revisited the project site to closer look at the project
(6/15/2013) - Project Date (completed)
