This is the first camp outing I have gone to since October 2012. Everything was the usual but this time, this was the first camp outing for the new first year scouts. All of the older scouts set up stations to teach the scouts scout skills they need to know for everyday life and to become a higher rank.
We had knot tying, fire building, personal fitness, the ax yard, and orienteering. I led the fire building station teaching the scouts the important uses and responsibilities of making a fire and why we sometimes need to make a fire. At night, we had a big campfire. This was also the last camping activity the senior scouts attended. Hopefully, the new scouts learned different skills they could use in the future.
