Siege of Mafeking--11/9-10/2013--

This year at the Siege of Mafeking outing, I worked at the Fire building station. We had a lot of great patrols come to the station. This year though, we had a lot of patrols that came to my station when they were not supposed to, one of them included my own troop! At the Fire building station, the task is to make a fire a certain length high to light a fuse cord which then will light the smoke bomb to distract the boars. Always, every year, the stations that I work at, I always end up last at finishing the station so we go to bed last. We went to bed at 3 am this year unlike last year which ended at 2 am. Even though I had to stay up longer than others, it is still a fun camp out to work at and I will always enjoy it!
